Consul General, Frances Chisholm presented awards to winners of a poetry-writing contest for students, sponsored by the U.S. Consulate General Durban in partnership with the Luthuli Museum.  The contest arose out of a Black History Month commemorative event celebrated at the museum in February 2015. Addressing students during the awards ceremony, Consul General Chisholm encouraged students to seize exciting opportunities for personal development that their teachers, parents, and community offer to them.
