EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The General Services Office (GSO) US Mission South Africa seeks to enter into a contract with qualified, reliable firms with sufficient resources, financing, and specific work experience related to Residential Heat pump installations for the US Embassy in Pretoria

The scope of work includes, but not limited to the following.

1. Heat pump (HP) Electrical

2. Groundwork and preparations

3. Heat pump (HP) Plumbing

4. Appendix

5. Cost Construct

A compulsory site meeting will start at 420 Nicolson str, Unit 2, Brooklyn, Pretoria on Tuesday, 5 September 2023 @ 09h30 am.

All interested contractors must confirm their attendance no later than COB (17H00), Friday, 1 September 2023 via email to Monica Nagley on nagleym@state.gov and cc kriekjx@state.gov

A SOW will be sent to all interested parties.

Kindly provide the following on your confirmation of attendance.

i)          Reference Number RFQ PR11939803

i)          Full name of attendee with contact number (preferably only one representative per Company).

ii)         Provide proof of ID at the site meeting.

Please ensure you get an e-mail receipt acknowledgement from us in return to ensure you are added onto the attendee list.

Contractors are requested to bring their own measuring wheel to the Site Meeting.

U.S Embassy payment terms:

i)       The US Embassy will make no provision for fluctuations in price or exchange rates after the order has been placed. If your price is dependent on these fluctuations, you MUST make provision for possible increases in your quoted price.

ii)      The U.S Embassy does not authorize Advance (deposit) payments.

iii)        Payment will be made via EFT into the company’s bank account, within 30 days of delivery of goods/services and receipt of proper Invoice.

iv)     By submitting a Quotation, you are agreeing to waiver any payment terms that may be in contrast with the above.

iv)        Progress payments will be authorised

Compulsory SAM Registration

All tenderers must register with SAM – System for Award Management as part of the tender process. www.sam.gov

Instructions are available on the U.S Embassy South Africa website. NO TENDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PROOF OF REGISTRATION.  Once registered please attach the Unique ID number as proof to the Tender document.
