Fuel System Maintenance (Cape Town | Responses Required by December 1, 2022; 10:00am)

The U.S. Consulate Cape Town, South Africa is requesting quotes  from  vendors qualified and certified in working on Pneumercator Fuel Management Systems for the supply of a Maintenance service agreement for the Consulates fuel system.

 

Certified technicians will be required to maintain the Fuel Pumps, Fuel Storage Tank and Panel controls.

*Vendor would be responsible to supply all labor & materials

  1. Contract Details. The intention is to award a firm-fixed priced, base + four option years agreement to the qualified vendor who provides a proposal that credibly addresses the requirements identified in the detailed scope of works and is the lowest priced of all technically acceptable offers. Therefore, your proposals should provide for five (5), 12 month periods, titled: Base year, Option year 1 and Option year 2, Option year 3, Option year 4. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
  2. Interested Vendors. A site meeting will be held at the U.S. Consulate General Cape Town, 2 Reddam Avenue, Tokai on Tuesday, 6 December 2022 at 10am. All contractors interested in bidding on this project must confirm their attendance NO LATER THAN 13H00 on Thursday, 1 December 2022. (Attendance is not mandatory)

Only qualified vendors from who we have received requests on or before the RESPOND BY DATE* will receive the detailed scope of works and will be invited to the site visit. In your email confirmation of attendance, please provide FULL NAME; ID NUMBER; CONTACT NUMBER(s)  VEHICLE MAKE,MODEL AND COLOUR THAT WILL BE PARKING ON OUR PREMISES & CONTACT NUMBER(s) of your representatives who will be attending the site visit. Contractors who do not confirm attendance by providing the above information before the deadline will strictly not be allowed entry on the day of the site visit. Please use the above-mentioned subject in your subject line when submitting your interest in attending the site visit

 

  1. Payment terms. The U.S. Consulate will make no provision for fluctuations in price or exchange rates after the order has been placed. If your price is dependent on these fluctuations, you MUST make provision for possible increases in your quoted price. Payment will be made via EFT into the company’s bank account, within 30 days of delivery of goods/services and receipt of proper Invoice, not before.  By submitting a Quotation, vendors are agreeing to waive any of their own company’s payment terms that contradict with those of the U.S. Government.
    *Note: No advanced/deposit payments permitted.

 

  1. Vendor Registration. To receive awards totaling $30,000.00 or above, all contractors must be registered in the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM) Database* prior to contract award, pursuant to the U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.204-7. For awards totaling $25,000.00, all contractors must ensure that they obtain a Unique entity ID. Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to register in SAM prior to submitting a proposal as they will not be eligible for the award until they have successfully registered and would therefore be deemed technically unacceptable and thus disqualified.

If you do not receive a confirmation, you must assume your request was not received, and are encouraged to send the message again, and follow-up with a call to the Procurement Staff (on/before the deadline) to ensure your request is received.
