U.S. Consul General Chisholm joined KwaZulu-Natal’s MEC for Health Dr. S.M. Dhlomo for the August 4th unveiling of a “Dual Protection” billboard near Mangosuthu University of Technology in Durban.

The dual protection program emphasizes both medical male circumcision and condom use to prevent the transmission of ‪HIV/AIDS. In her remarks of support, CG Chisholm highlighted the longstanding U.S. partnership with the KZN Department of Health through the The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

“We have been partners in the response for more than 10 years now … Let us endeavor to make the next years ones of impact and success as we push toward the goals of the elimination of HIV and a healthy life for all. The youth of this country deserve nothing less.”
