
Consul General Miller attended the launch of the U.S. State Department sponsored exhibition, Photographs in Black and White: Margaret Bourke-White and the Dawn of Apartheid in South Africa, at the Bensusan Museum of Photography, Museum Africa, in Newtown, on January 11. The exhibition is curated by Alex Lichtenstein, Associate Professor of History at Indiana University. Consul General Miller had the opportunity to speak with American students from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, who attended the opening as part of their three week course of study on reconciliation and twenty years of democracy in South Africa.
