The U.S. Consulate in Johannesburg has the requirement for janitorial services. Please see solicitation document for details of the requirement.

All questions regarding the solicitation must be sent in writing to Johannesburg_Procure@state.gov no later than Friday, January 26th, 2017.

All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered.

The successful offeror(s) will be required, prior to award of the order, to have a DUNS number and be registered in SAM/CCR through the following sites:  DUNS – www.dnb.com and SAM/CCR – www.sam.gov

 A site visit will be scheduled for January 24th and all interested parties are to provide their contact details in order to attend. Please submit full manes, ID numbers, vehicle make, model, color & registration number to Johannesburg_Procure@state.gov in order to be included in the site visit. No access will be granted if you have not registered to attend.

Closing date for submission of proposals is 16h00 on January 30th , 2017

Submissions must be made prior to this date and time.

Cape Town Gardening Grounds-Keeping Contract Notice

SUBJECT: Notice of Intent to Contract for Gardening/Grounds-keeping Services

  1. General Summary of Services Required.
    The U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town intends to solicit proposals for contracted grounds-keeping and gardening services to be provided over a prescribed period of performance. The services will generally include the following, at regular intervals*:

    1. Lawn maintenance (e.g., mowing, trimming, raking, etc…)
    2. Gardening (e.g., planting, pruning, etc…)
    3. Tree, hedge, and bush trimming
    4. Removal of plant debris
    5. Identify and/or rectify environmental factors negatively impacting plant-life*Note: detailed requirements will be provided in the solicitation package to all interested parties
  1. Contract Details.
    The intention is to award a firm-fixed price, “base + option year(s) contract” to the qualified vendor who provides a proposal that credibly addresses the requirements identified in the solicitation package, and is the lowest priced of all technically acceptable offers. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
  2. Interested Vendors.
    All those interested in preparing/submitting a proposal for this contract are requested to send an email to the Procurement Staff at the U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town. For those vendors unable to send the request electronically (see Contact Information box at the bottom of the page).Only qualified vendors from who we’ve received requests on or before the RESPOND BY DATE* will receive the solicitation package.*Note: Procurement Staff will send a confirmation of your request within 2 business days of receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation, you must assume your request was not received, and are encouraged to send the message again, and follow-up with a call to the Procurement Staff (on/before the deadline) to ensure your request is received.

    1. Solicitation Package. Please note this solicitation package is being prepared at this time, and is not yet ready for distribution. The Procurement staff of the U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town will provide the solicitation package to all qualified, interested parties once it is finalized.
    2. Vendor Registration. All contractors must be registered in the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM) Database* prior to contract award pursuant to the U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.204-7.  Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to register in SAM prior to submitting a proposal.

The U.S Embassy in Pretoria South Africa is looking for qualified contractors to quote on the Building of Boundary Walls

A compulsory site meeting will be held at 373 Illinois Street, Faerie Glen X02

All interested contractors must confirm their attendance no later than Wednesday, 28 December, 2016 via email to Alida Mallett on mallettaj@state.gov and cc kriekjx@state.gov where after the date and time of site meeting

will be confirmed and a full Scope of Work will be provided.

The site meeting date will be set for Thursday, January 5, 2017

– Only NHBRC registered Contractors may attend the site-meeting.  Proof of the NHBRC registration must be submitted with the Quotation. Any Proposals received without this proof, will not be considered

– Contractors are requested to bring their own measuring wheel to the Site Meeting

U.S Embassy payment terms:

The US Embassy will make no provision for fluctuations in price or exchange rates after the order has been placed.  If your price is dependent on these fluctuations, you MUST make provision for possible increases in your quoted price.

The U.S Embassy does not authorize Advance (deposit) payments.

Payment will be made via EFT into the company’s bank account, within 30 days of delivery of goods/services and receipt of proper Invoice, not before.

By submitting a Quotation you are agreeing to waiver any payment terms that may be in contrast to the above.

This notice is in regard to the subject Request for Proposals (RFP), issued by the U.S. Consulate General Cape Town for Venue Space and Services for the 2017 U.S. Embassy Hosted Budget Speech Reception in Cape Town.  The U.S. Consulate has evaluated the proposals received using the evaluation criteria identified in the RFP, and the Consulate is hereby announcing its conditional contract award to the following bidder:

The bidder listed above received the evaluation team’s highest ranking. The U.S. Consulate will be contacting the aforementioned bidder soon to negotiate a contract. As provided in the RFP, the Notice of Conditional Contract Award is subject to execution of a written contract and, as a result, this Notice does NOT constitute the formation of a contract between the U.S. Consulate Cape Town and the apparent successful vendor. The vendor shall not acquire any legal or equitable rights relative to the contract services until a contract containing terms and conditions acceptable to the U.S. Consulate is executed. The Department further reserves the right to cancel this Notice of Conditional Contract Award at any time prior to the execution of a written contract.
