A Year of U.S. Support for the SA COVID-19 Response
It’s been a year since the pandemic began, and those 12 months have seen almost R770 million ($51 million) in COVID-19 assistance from the United States to South Africa. We have worked with our partners in South Africa to provide PPE, build field hospitals, improve research partnerships, establish health care worker training, assist with vaccines, and so much more. And there is still more to come, as the partnership between our countries to respond to the pandemic continues!
