Description of appliance

  1. Samsung HD TV; View content at 1080p resolution across NTSC, PAL, and SECAM color systems with the Samsung N5300 43″ Class HDR Full HD Smart Multisystem LED TV. This TV has a 43″ LED-backlit LCD and incorporates Motion Rate 50 technology to enhance fast-moving images to reduce blur. It is compatible with HDR10 to provide a wider color gamut with compatible.

·         The Embassy Warehouse Supply section needs to order 43” Flat screen TV’s.

·         The Contractor will deliver the appliance with a delivery note/copy invoice to the Warehouse Receiving Office at 30 Gemsbok Street Koedoespoort.

NDAA Contracting Requirements and Procurement Provisions To ensure compliance with the United States Government’s National Defense Authorization Act, interested offerors (Quoters, Service providers and/or Suppliers) are required to read the full text of below clauses, follow instructions and complete FAR 52.204-24(d)(1) & (2). 1.            52.204-24 Representation Regarding Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment.

(d) Representation. The Offeror represents that—

(1)It □ will, □ will not provide covered telecommunications equipment or services to the Government in the performance of any contract, subcontract or other contractual instrument resulting from this solicitation. The Offeror shall provide the additional disclosure information required at paragraph (e)(1) of this section if the Offeror responds “will” in paragraph (d)(1) of this section; and

(2)After conducting a reasonable inquiry, for purposes of this representation, the Offeror represents that—

2.            52.204-25 Prohibition on Contracting for Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment.

Covered telecommunications includes telecommunication equipment or services and video surveillance equipment or services produced by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation, or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities; produced by Hytera Communications Corporation, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, or Dahua Technology Company (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities); produced or provided by an entity that the Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Director of National Intelligence or the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, reasonably believes to be an entity owned or controlled by, or otherwise connected to, the government of a covered foreign country.

Exceptions:

Contractors are not prohibited from providing -A service that connects to the facilities of a third-party, such as backhaul, roaming, or interconnection arrangements; or -Telecommunications equipment that cannot route or redirect user data traffic or permit visibility into any user data or packets that such equipment transmits or otherwise handles.

U.S EMBASSY PAYMENT TERMS:

The US Embassy will make no provision for fluctuations in price or exchange rates after the order has been placed.  If your price is dependent on these fluctuations, you MUST make provision for possible increases in your quoted price.

The U.S Embassy does not authorize Advance (deposit) payments.

Payment will be made via EFT into the company’s bank account, within 30 days of delivery of goods/services and receipt of proper Invoice, not before. By submitting a Quotation you are agreeing to waiver any payment terms that may be in contrast to the above.

·         The contractor must submit the invoice, statement and Purchase order to SAInvoice@state.gov when the delivery is complete.
